Templar's Oath: A 2026 Look Back at Call of Duty Mobile Season 6

Call of Duty: Mobile's Mythic Templar — Couteau's Oath revives Season 6's Templar's Oath with a packed battle pass, Arena mode, and new weapons.

In 2026, the average Call of Duty: Mobile fan has seen plenty of shiny operators, but few returns have been as theatrical as Templar's comeback. After nearly dying at the hands of Ghost, the masked man dusted off his family's ancestral armor and strutted back into the spotlight as Mythic Templar — Couteau's Oath. The original Season 6 — Templar's Oath landed on July 5, 2023, at 5 PM PT, and for anyone catching up years later, it remains a packed time capsule of mechs, naval chaos, and a battle pass that refused to travel light.

The season asked a simple question of anyone in Templar's way: challenge him, or bow down? The average player, being a sensible creature with a respawn timer to protect, usually chose the third option — shoot first and ask questions after the killfeed settled. Season 6 also introduced the second Mythic Operator, the all-new 4v4v4 Arena mode, an expanded Armada map for Ground War, Goliath Clash 2.0, new weapons, a new Perk, a new Battle Royale class, and more. It was the kind of update that made a player's backlog whimper softly in the corner.

🎟️ Templar's Oath Battle Pass: New Weapon and Perk

The Templar's Oath Battle Pass featured free and premium items including new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and additional COD Points to spend on the next Premium Pass or Store purchase.

Free Tiers

  • Grau 5.56 Assault Rifle — unlocked at Tier 21, a lightweight and maneuverable addition to the arsenal.

  • Survival Training Multiplayer Perk — at Tier 14, granting immunity to the negative effects of one piece of enemy Tactical equipment every 30 seconds.

  • MAC-10 — Mercy — at Tier 50, plus a variety of camos and Weapon Blueprints.

Premium Pass Tiers

Purchasing the Premium Pass opened the door to Operator Skins like Bulldozer — Primal Threat, Samael — Mighty Cyclops, Wraith — Berserkr, and Alice — Enchanted Woods. Epic armaments included the GKS — Metal Scales, Hades — Forest Rifle, L-CAR 9 — Flaming Sun, SP-R 208 — Celestial Nights, and the Grau 5.56 — Nordic Warrior.

The Battle Pass Subscription also enlisted players with the Ground Forces, granting extra rewards each season, a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP, and limited discounts on 10x crate pulls. Season 6's Ground Forces rewards included the Adler — Gauntlet Operator Skin, the DL Q33 — Ebony Lion Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack — Ebony Lion.

⚔️ New Arena Mode Adds 4v4v4 and Goliath 2.0

The new Multiplayer Arena mode threw three teams of four onto either New Vision City or Ecology Lab from Battle Royale for round-based combat. Players could explore the map before the match began to purchase items for the first round. Inside the round, a circle collapse pushed everyone closer together, and there were no respawns — get eliminated and it was spectating duty until the next round.

By completing objectives like defeating enemies, players earned tokens to buy weapons and equipment between rounds. Shooting down drones scattered around the map provided additional equipment and tokens. The first team to win two rounds took the match. It was part strategy, part shopping trip, and part controlled panic.

Goliath Clash 2.0 brought even more mech mayhem with support for more maps and a glow-up from the Silver Goliath to the Golden Goliath. This improved model carried two Death Machines at once, paired with an infinite fire ability that temporarily improved fire rate and offered unlimited ammo until the weapon had to cool down. Subtle it was not.

🌊 Armada Expands to Ground War

The high-seas confrontation that began with the previous season's Armada Strike expanded into a larger nautical battle with the full Armada map coming to Ground War. Operators fought across multiple ships and on the open water, with strategically placed zip lines allowing quick movement from ship to ship. For players who preferred a more powerful form of transportation, the map offered Helicopters, Hoverbikes, and the new Gunboat, alongside optimized deployment functions and user interface improvements. When things got desperate — or when a lower profile was required — there was always the old-fashioned swim.

🛡️ New Battle Royale Class: Kinetic Station

The new Kinetic Station Battle Royale class let players beef up squad defenses by dropping a kinetic armor-producing stand for the whole team. The armor deflected incoming bullets across the whole body until the skill timer ran out or enough damage had been inflicted. It did not protect against melee, headshot, incendiary, or explosive damage, so enemy snipers and incoming grenades remained excellent reasons to stay alert. The stand itself could also be destroyed, which meant keeping it safe from enemy interference was part of the job. Unlocking the class required completing the Damage Denied Seasonal Mission.

🗿 Mythical Mission and New Attachments

Season 6 also added the Mythical Mission themed event. Players acquired Etched Stones by completing Multiplayer and Battle Royale matches, daily tasks, and challenges. Those stones were used to occupy nodes on the map, though some nodes were more advantageous than others, so planning a path carefully paid off with a handsome reward.

New Seasonal Challenges and Featured Events rewarded Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Battle Pass XP, and more, including the new Heartseeker attachment. Attaching Heartseeker to the Hades LMG helped pinpoint the location of incoming enemies, a valuable tool for preventing unwanted flank attacks while engaged against distant Operators.

🏆 World Championship 2023: Stage 4

Edouard Couteau, aka Templar, returned as Mythic Templar — Couteau's Oath. Having recovered his family's ancestral armor, he was more powerful than ever. A new Battle Royale narrative available to all players starting in Season 6 told the story behind the armor. The Draw also included Templar's nightmarish weapon, the Legendary PP19 Bizon — Oath's Defiance. Players who unlocked the Mythic Operator skin could separately purchase a new Battle Royale plane skin through the Skydive Emote upgrade path, as well as a unique skin for the new Kinetic Station Battle Royale class.

Other Season 6 Draws featured Operator Skins Crash — Hospitaller, Artery — Lady Rowan, and Fiona St. George — Flamewing alongside Legendary Weapon Blueprints Kilo 141 — Legion's Spear, XPR-50 — Broken Will, and Grau 5.56 — Burned Soul.

The Battle Pass Vault also gained two Battle Passes. The Heat offered Epic-rarity Operators like Soap — Takedown, Price — The Captain, Domino — Revolutionary, and Rosa — Double Agent, plus Weapon Blueprints such as the Type 25 — Jungle Militia, HG 40 — All Angles, DL Q33 — Black Market, ICR-1 — Blood Money, and MX9 — Stone Serpent. The Radical Raid Battle Pass joined the Vault with Gunzo — Clownpin, Park — Glam, American Bulldog — Chrome Dome, Killgore, and Weapon Blueprints including the HBRa3 — Jaguar 2000, R9-0 — Far Frontier, DL Q33 — Space Captain, Kilo 141 — Hair Metal, and MAC 10 — Banana Blaster.

In 2026, Season 6 — Templar's Oath is no longer a fresh live-season headline, but it remains a useful snapshot of Call of Duty: Mobile at its most gleefully overstuffed. Templar got his armor, players got their Arena chaos, and the average fan got one more reason to check the killfeed before challenging a man with a mythic grudge. 🎮
